Actually, 1 day of …
Actually, 1 day of rest is fine, and 3-4 days is “too much” of rest. Muscles don’t need that much time to rebuild and recover. Trust me, my study-way is all about this, and this is correct. Sometimes you could have use of having 2 days of recovering though

You are worried …
You are worried that you can bench too much. When I was 17 I was benching 325lbs….seriously u should be happy your bench is increasing. Weights will not stunt your growth take it from me, actually weights encourage all kinds of growth. And u say you weigh 134, man start downing the carbs, protein and some fat u will be impressed with the size/strength u will gain.

Actually, I’ve been …
Actually, I’ve been going to the gym 3-4 times a week, working virtually every muscle each time and have seen excellent growth and strength increases over the last 4 months. I’ve also gained about 10lbs in weight. Every one is different and needs different resting times between work outs. Most body builders workout every other day on the same muscle groups too.

amcadam26 your …
amcadam26 your doing nothing but ruining your muscles if your work your muscles constistently with only 1 days rest its bad for them your muscles need atleast 3-4 days do recoup exept for your abs and your calfs but if you are doing exercises with your own body weight like chin- ups, pushups, dips and other stuff like that they can be done everyday but its different with weight training

ya low weights high …
ya low weights high reps = more muscle definition and more muscle stamina
high weights low reps = more muscle mass
you should try to lift around if not your max for instance you cna use the 5 pound rule don’t lift anything less than 5 pounds off your max for instance if your max is 100 then dont lift less than 95 and if you wanna increase volume do more sets I repeat do more sets not more reps if you can do alot of reps you arent using enough weight

you get …
yep
you get stronger when you tearing up your muscles with 1 rep of 500lbs
but if you do 100000 reps of 1 pound you get bigger muscles but not AS strong as someone who does 1 500lb rep

The problem is that …
The problem is that you’re trying to get a burn from weightlifting. “The Burn” comes from cardio, when the lactic acid breaks down your muscles following the failure of your lungs to maintain sufficient oxygen for “aerobic” exercise. The only way you’re going to get a burn from weightlifting is if you’re doing 30-50 reps with almost no weight. Ignore the burn.
If you’re trying to gain weight, do your workout and make sure your muscles are sore the next day. It’s muscle soreness for progress.

Totally agree with this video. This is how I train for the last two weeks, and have already noticed my strength increasing. I do 10 mins on the treadmill jogging everyday, then alternate arms and legs each day on strength training. If your muscles ache after your workout, then you know you’ve done something right.
